Terms of Service
These terms cover the public website, the self-hosted Clawsum software, and the Clawsum Admin Google OAuth client. Paid founding seats are also subject to the written order and the founding agreement summary. This page is not a substitute for that order or for legal counsel.
1. Acceptance
By using clawsum.com, connecting Google to Clawsum Admin, or running a Clawsum instance, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not connect Gmail and do not use the software.
2. The service
Clawsum is private operator software: a conversation face (Hermes / Clawsum UI), a control plane (Paperclip), and scoped agents (OpenClaw). It is not a consumer social app and is not offered as a public Gmail client for arbitrary Google users.
3. Google / Gmail connector
- OAuth scope is gmail.readonly only.
- You must sign in as the mailbox you intend to archive. On our reference instance that is clawsums@gmail.com.
- You may revoke access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
- We do not warrant uninterrupted sync. Testing-mode Google tokens can expire; production verification is Google’s process, not a Clawsum SLA.
Use of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts and access
Ops hosts (Boss, Paperclip, Grafana, and similar) sit behind operator authentication. You are responsible for credentials you issue, who you invite, and what those people can approve.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Clawsum to:
- Access a Google account you do not control
- Violate Google’s API or user-data rules
- Send unlawful, deceptive, or unconsented communications (the Gmail connector cannot send mail)
- Probe, disrupt, or exfiltrate systems you do not own
6. Commercial terms
Founding Operator pricing, term length, and payment timing are stated on clawsum.com/offer. No payment is due until you accept a written order.
7. Disclaimer
The software and site are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that briefs, agent actions, or inbox triage will be complete or error-free. You remain responsible for business, legal, and financial decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hennessey Holdings LLC and the Clawsum operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the site, software, or Gmail connector.
9. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new effective date on this page.
